RALPH NADER FOR PRESIDENT

As the communications agency for Ralph Nader’s 2000 presidential campaign, we consulted in all aspects of campaign strategy and authored the overall media and message strategy. The national rollout of Nader’s campaign was lauded as the most effective communications of any 2000 presidential campaign.

Produced TV, radio, graphic design, print and collateral consistent with the candidate and campaign strategies, yet distinct from other campaigns.

  Developed an earned media strategy focusing on proactive stories, opportunity media and rapid response.

  Amplified small media budgets by generating national publicity for the compelling campaign commercials we produced.

  Developed media placement strategies to maximize popular vote in non-swing states.

  North Woods’ two TV ads remain the top two spots for political advertising on AdCritic.com.

  Helped design and integrate website and Internet strategy into overall campaign strategy.

 

Developed and helped support numerous events and field activities to reach into smaller and mid-sized markets.

Result: Received 3% of the national popular vote and over 5% in eleven states plus the District of Columbia.
